CSR is a consultancy which seeks to accelerate the growth of small- and medium-sized businesses by delivering strategically-driven results. The Client Services Associate serves as the glue for client engagements, facilitating the general workflow and ensuring a degree of organization and accountability with regard to the engagement’s tasks and objectives. In addition, the Client Services Associate will work hands-on and play an important role in completing projects and deliverables.
Facilitate the workflow for client engagements; and track deliverables and due dates
Facilitate the workflow for strategic planning sessions; assist in the pre-session preparation and post-session production of strategic plans
Create project plans for engagement objectives, in collaboration with the consultant team
Attend, display materials, and take notes for all client and team meetings
Produce first drafts of meeting agendas and minutes for client meetings
Assist in creation of client budgets and financial dashboards
Support Client Managers with research, graphics, and analytical work product as requested
Assist in recruitment activities for client and internal roles as requested
Provide regular updates to the Principal on the status of client engagements
Complete or delegate other duties as identified and communicated by the Principal
Attend monthly CSR team meetings
Bachelor's degree in business OR at least 3 years experience in a business-to-business environment (both preferred)
Familiarity with basic financial reporting (income statements, A/R aging, etc.)
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
Strong writing and excellent attention to detail
A “take-charge” personality combined with a professional and highly credible demeanor
Ability to problem-solve, adapt, and improvise
Strong communication skills, both internally and externally
Because of the critical nature of engagements, it is expected that the contractor will be timely with regard to the monitoring and answering of both client and intra-CSR communications (i.e., phone messages, calls, e-mails, texts, etc.).
A sense of urgency is a vital component of the CSR service offering with a premium being placed on attention to detail.
