Andres was born and raised in Peru (with a brief stint in Venezuela). He graduated from the Universidad del Pacifico, in Lima, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and moved to the U.S.A. in 2001 to pursue an MBA from UNC Business. He graduated as expected in 2003 with concentrations in Operations and Customer Management. Surprisingly, he found the time to convince a beautiful classmate that he was husband material (she remains confounded). During his career Andres has experienced several industries (defense, telecom, fuel, technology, and mining) as well as functions (sales, internal audit, controller, logistics, strategy), and has relied on his process improvement skills, teamwork focus, and passionate drive to achieve success. And speaking of passion, Andres is a rugby player and plans to remain being one until his next serious injury.
