Alex is an operations administrator with over two decades of deep roots in the nonprofit sector. Known for her resourcefulness and results-driven approach, she excels in building relationships and thrives in bringing order to chaos. She specializes in managing C-Suites, serving as board liaison, and overseeing day-to-day operations, human resources, volunteer programs, IT systems, and event planning. Her expertise extends to project management, strategic planning and systems development and implementation.


Prior to joining CSR, she worked with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, California Botanic Garden and Descanso Gardens. Most recently she was part of Solid Ground Consulting where she focused on managing client relationships, project management, executive searches, and facilitation of board retreats. In this capacity she had the opportunity to work with hundreds of organizations like the Grand Canyon Conservancy, Yosemite Conservancy, National Park Foundation, Land Trust Alliance, and Yellowstone Conservancy.


Alex is passionate about organizational culture, board development and shaping the path for the next generation of nonprofit emerging leaders. She studied nonprofit management at Oregon State University and Ornamental Horticulture-Landscape Design at Mt San Antonio College. Beyond her professional commitments, Alex is an active member of AARP’s DEIJ Committee and Wish of a Lifetime Validation Committee.


Outside of work Alex spends her time building her floral design side hustle, making art, or exploring the lush forests of the Pacific Northwest.
