It’s become abundantly clear that though much of our country is reopening to some degree, we will never truly go back to “business as usual.” Many businesses are pivoting in order to adjust to this new reality, and CSR is no exception. Here’s how we’re pivoting in light of the changes brought about by COVID-19.
I have always believed that our work must be done at least partially in person so I have avoided growing outside of the Atlanta metro area.
Though dabbling here and there outside of Atlanta (particularly our push into Spain), I assumed that going into southeastern markets around Atlanta was something that would be a failure without in-person contact. Our model involves a high degree of trust-building, collaborative behaviors – how could we ever replicate this in a non-live way?
Cue eye roll.
I am already seeing benefits from the COVID crisis (gotta look for those silver linings!): an increased willingness to transact business over video and non-traditional means. When CSR works with its clients, we get into some pretty deep stuff – stuff that truly lends itself to sitting across a table from someone and being live. Yet these last weeks and months have shown us that that same result can be achieved and maintained virtually.
Is it as easy? No.
Does that mean that we shouldn’t offer it? Absolutely not – as we like to tell our own clients, not offering what we really excel at for no good reason other than that the new way is a departure from the old benefits no one – not us and certainly not the potential clients out there that can benefit from our awesomeness.
We’re excited to be offering this new virtual model – reach out to learn more about how CSR is open for business outside of Atlanta.
