Counting Our Blessings

Holiday traditions abound when it comes to Thanksgiving. While some prefer to roast their turkey dinners in the oven, others opt for deep frying the bird, while still others forgo cooking altogether and dine on sumptuous prix fie menus in the comfort of a restaurant. Yet whether one opts to chow down on macaroni and cheese casserole or sticks to healthier (albeit less tasty) alternatives such as Brussels sprouts, one tradition that remains a fixture for families everywhere is the custom of giving thanks for the year’s blessings. In the seemingly never-ending bustle of everyday life, it can be easy to overlook the many good things in life. That’s why taking the time to reflect with gratitude can be such a powerful and uplifting exercise; it helps one to take stock and be truly grateful for the abundant blessings that too often are taken for granted.

At CSR, we’re taking the day to count our blessings. Here are some of the things we’re grateful for this year:

  • We’re grateful for in-person meetings with colleagues and clients alike. Zoom may be helpful, but it is no substitute for seeing others face to face!

  • We’re grateful for the camaraderie of our CSR team and are especially grateful for all the new additions that this year has brought us.

  • We’re thankful for our referral partners who help connect us to potential clients that would benefit from our expertise.

  • We’re grateful for what seems to be a light at the end of the long COVID-19 tunnel!

  • Most of all, we’re grateful for our clients, who continue to trust us with their business.

Wherever you are and however you’re celebrating, CSR wishes you a joyful Thanksgiving!
