Requirements

  • Strong communication, project management, and time-management skills 

  • Professional service experience (law firm, medical practice, etc.) and/or management consulting experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite applications

  • Strong people skills punctuated by living out CSR values in client and internal relationships

  • Reliable transportation and availability to commute to client meetings

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop client management, business, and networking skills closely with CSR Principal.

  • Standardize and streamline existing CSR business functions as well as client business functions;

  • Develop/enhance account management skills;

  • Provide weekly updates on current activities;

  • Skillful management of client relationships in order to ensure existing clients are retained;

  • Prospect for consultants/employees of CSR;

  • Attend periodic 1x1 meetings with Principal;

  • Utilize CSR specified software (e.g., project management software provided by CSR) and update in a timely fashion. 

 

Because of the critical nature of engagements, it is expected that Client Manager will be timely with regard to the monitoring and answering of both client and intra-CSR communications (i.e., phone messages, calls, e-mails, texts, etc.).  A sense of urgency is a vital component of the CSR service offering with a premium being placed on attention to detail that conveys CSR’s core values.

 

As appropriate and desired:

 

Sales and Marketing

  • Targeting new business prospects

  • Meeting/prospecting

  • Direct marketing

  • Build prospects/contacts through existing clients

  • Peer to peer networking

  • Develop/add to existing and maintain a prime prospect list

  • Regularly update CSR’s CRM program with client and prospect information, notes, future opportunities, etc.

  • Provide regular, updated sales reports via timely feeds into Capsule (or other customer relationship management (CRM) software used by CSR at such time)

  • Manage/maintain regular contact with companies on the prospect list

  • Research all prospects

  • Create opportunities to pitch new accounts

  • Understand the business and marketing challenges of key prospects

  • Develop sales strategies for key prospects

  • Coordinate presentation/sales pitch approaches

  • In conjunction with management team, deliver weekly sales forecasts

 

Compensation

Commensurate with levels of engagement per account. Accounts that are sourced by the firm are assigned at the principal's discretion, according to the client manager's capabilities, and opportunities scale with the client manager’s demonstrated performance.
