Herbert, a native Philadelphian is an innovative results-driven management consultant with significant experience in death care, hospitality/food service, entertainment, sports, sustainable energy and management consulting. He is currently a Client Manager for CSR. In this role, he leverages business consulting experience in helping organizations to improve overall operations by offering assistance in a variety of areas, including human capital management, profit engineering, operational effectiveness, customer relations, change management, business administration, and technology management. He collaborates with key business partners to identify opportunities for improvement with a goal of achieving cost savings while developing innovative solutions to increase revenue. Herbert has also been a member of leadership teams of startup and early stage companies. Prior to CSR, Herbert was Senior Vice President of Administration for Gourmet Services, Inc. (GSI). During his time with GSI, he was responsible for providing leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives as well as directing all of the administrative functions of the corporation. Before the Gourmet Companies, Herbert was a human resource management executive with Fortune 500 corporations and a management consultant with global consultancies. As a consultant, he sold and delivered professional services to Fortune Global 500 and Fortune 1000 organizations. From 1993-1996, Herbert was a member of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, where he held a leadership position in the development and implementation of the human resource management programs for the Games of the XXVI Olympiad. Herbert served as a corporate representative to the United States Council for International Business, member of the United States delegation to the International Labour Organization and as a member of the Atlanta delegation to the World Union of Olympic Cities. Herbert began his career as a law clerk at the United States Department of Justice and later as assistant to the founder, CEO and president of GSI. Herbert received his Juris Doctor (JD) from Howard University, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clark Atlanta University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Magna Cum Laude from Lincoln University, PA.
